“The Little Flower” by Jaden Amparo

Jaden Amparo is a first-year student at the School of Nursing. She pursues art as a hobby, and she particularly enjoys portraying people, flowers, and nature.

From The Artist: This piece depicts St. Thérèse of Lisieux: a beloved saint of the Catholic Church. One of four female Doctors of the Church, her writings inspire many people to find beauty in their own simplicity. She once said, "If every tiny flower wanted to be a rose, spring would lose its loveliness.”
