Sarah Hartmus (she/her) is a sophomore University of Michigan student studying acting. She loves being a part of LSWA and having the opportunity to see the wonderful work LSWA students create. She loves performing, reading, and writing poetry.

Vanessa Lee (she/her/hers) is a second year student at the University of Michigan. She is pursuing a major in Information Analysis and a minor in Fine Arts. She loves painting, listening to music, and going to the gym. She is happy to be a part of the LSWA Arts and Literary Journal club!

ADVISOR

Mitali Khanna Sharma (she/her) joined LSWA as the journal advisor in 2022. With experience in poetry, editing, and design, she enjoys supporting LSWA students in cultivating a supportive, enriching, and innovative literary/arts publication. Outside of Lloyd Hall, you might find Mita working on her Master’s degree in the Dana Building, tending to her community garden plot, or caring for her pup, Korra.

WRITING EDITOR, SOCIAL MEDIA CHAIR

Aileen is a UM freshman studying Business Administration and social sciences. Her poetry has been recognized by the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards and most recently published in Polyphony Lit Magazine. In her spare time, she enjoys experimenting with watercolor pencils, reading books, and doing yoga.

Lauren Brace (she/her) is a freshman at the University of Michigan studying English and Spanish. She is incredibly excited to be working on LSWA's Arts and Literary Journal! Outside of her love for reading and writing, Lauren also loves singing, board games, and acting with her Improv team.

Charlie (they/them) is a first year student studying linguistics at the University of Michigan. They are looking forward to seeing all the brilliant art that this year's LSWA students create. In their spare time, they enjoy reading, writing, and crocheting.

ART EDITOR, DESIGN CHAIR

Annabelle Ye is a freshman in the UM College of Literature, Science, and the Arts. She is currently a designer for the MichiganEnsian yearbook and a sports writer for the Michigan Daily. She also loves reading (anything romance!) and watching a variety of different sports.

WRITING EDITOR, WEB CHAIR

Sam Goldstein is a freshman at the University of Michigan studying psychology. She is excited to see the incredible work LSWA students create. Sam plays viola in the Michigan Pops Orchestra and is a designer for the Michigan Daily. In her free time, she loves crocheting, baking, and reading dystopian novels.
