Blink once, blink twice, there’s no one like me... nice. 

The air sits rigid, my freezing body takes another step into the icy waters. I take a seat. 

The chair burns me. 

I am trapped in my clothes. 

My organs feel too big to fit underneath my skin. 

But that’s why I’m here, isn’t it?

Alyssa O'Brien is a student in the College of Engineering. She majors in Computer Science and enjoys creative writing.
