“Dans Le Jardin” by Lillian Cutler
Lillian Cutler is in her first year at the University of Michigan. Born in California's Bay Area but moving to Michigan at a young age, she grew up in the Ann Arbor area and has always enjoyed all things DIY. Whether it's making collages, playing the flute, painting, or any other creative endeavor, Lillian always feels the most content and productive when she is engrossed in the creation of some sort of project. This piece comes from a journal along with a number of collages, many of which share similar features. With this particular composition, the artist focused on using up scraps from other projects to create a cohesive color scheme with a general nature theme.
