“Starry Night in Yarn” by Sirianna Blanck

 

Sirianna Blanck is a writer and artist born originally in Atlanta, Georgia. She is highly interested in art history, and along with studying its different movements, enjoys recreating famous and favorite pieces such as Van Gogh, Meret Oppenheim, and Pieter Bruegel the Elder.

Artist’s Statement: “I enjoy punch needle as a low stress, fabric craft that takes little initial knowledge to start. I began punch needling in Germany last summer and have found it to be a fun way to turn traditional art into a soft personal craft.”
