“attention” by Anya Baldus

i have too many feelings in my head

homeless bubbles running loose

setting traps for them becomes a tireless dream

jealousy runs through me as you look around

all the things you love

are all the things i live without

and all i want is the attention from you and i’m trying i’m really trying

but you’ll never see and it will be you and me

but never you and me

Anya Baldus is a student in LSA, from Lansing, Michigan, currently working towards an English major and Music minor.
